I am a West Michigan based pianist with over 20 years of professional experience.I studied piano performance and received a BA in music at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. WMU provided me the opportunity to study with award-winning pianist Lori Sims and also take part in master classes with many esteemed visiting artists including Yefim Bronfman, Larry Golding, Danilo Perez, and Billy Hart.For 3 years I was the pianist and keyboardist in the WMU Symphonic Band and toured with that group to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.I have also spent many years touring the Midwest with the bands Archipelago, The Flow, and La Famiglia. These groups have allowed me to share the stage with international acts including Umphrey’s McGee, The Wailers, Greensky Bluegrass, Toots and the Maytals, Talib Kweli, Liquid Soul, 50 Cent and many others.I have a varied repertoire encompassing many genres and influences including: Classical, Jazz, Ragtime, Film and TV, Pop, Rock, Holiday, New Age, Latin, and more.Available for hire - Events, weddings, music venues, clubs, restaurants, etc. Contact below.
